"Previously I used an Infrared Thermometer to measure the temperature of the air outlet of the air conditioning. But since I have acquired the Testo Smart Probe HVAC set, I now use the testo 405i or testo 410i to measure air flow and air temperature correctly. Because I use the correct sensor for the measurement, I feel more confident of the results.
On top of that, I like the additional modern functions in Testo digital manifold such as Bluetooth connection; for efficient and easier monitoring during the filling of refrigerant; and the wide range of refrigerant that the manifold can work on.
I also realize that how important it is for the R32 system to be properly evacuated before filling it with the refrigerant, therefore I now teach all the contractors to use the micron gauge to measure and observe if there is any drop the vacuum with the testo 552. Without such instrument, the air conditioning system runs a risk of premature failure or poor efficiency."
