Absolute pressure
Also known as relative or static pressure, absolute pressure applies to the vacuum of free space. Calculating absolute pressure is relatively tricky, as it involves adding gauge pressure to atmospheric pressure. Absolute pressure serves as a point of reference for HVAC technicians. For example, depending on system settings, building location and other factors, atmospheric pressure is not constant across different situations. Static pressure eliminates this variability by providing a constant point of citation. Testo’s absolute pressure meters is the preferred choice among HVAC technicians. Did you know: Absolute pressure relates to the vacuous space of the universe (zero pressure).
