Industrial emission standards will be tighten to achieve higher air quality goals by Government and Regulatory Agencies. As such, understanding methods to measure Flue Gas has become increasingly important for all industries.
Efficient combustion also reduces emission of pollutants such as nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and particulate matter. A gas analyzer will help measure various gas pollutants in the exhaust for environmental reasons.
This workshop will provide you an overview of emission measurement industries, utilization of portable analyzers, and hands-on training to allow the industry to meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
All of these elements combined throughout the workshop will create an experience that is applicable to the day-to-day work for those that perform engine emission testing and regulatory compliance for air permits.
Workshop Goals:
- Overall understanding of combustion emission stack testing and the importance in relation to air permit compliance.
- Overview of multiple portable analyzers available in the industry and utilization of each type.
- Hands on experiment using on portable gas analyzer.
